Liquid ink
In printing ink products, the type we call "liquid ink" which has the relative to the general product lower viscosity and a good fluidity. It is certain viscosity of the colored liquid made of a varnish (that is resin), solvent (organic solvent or water), pigments, additives and other components.
According to the solvent system, ink is divided into water-based ink and solvent-based ink, according to the printing method, ink is divided into gravure ink and flexographic ink.
Composition of ink
1) varnish (resin) : disperse coating pigment, adhesion to substrate, provide a certain degree of patience, flexibility
2) pigment: give ink color
3) solvent: dissolve the resin and adjust the viscosity and drying speed of the ink
4) annexing agent: supplement, strengthen the resin part can not meet the physical properties of the ink, improve the overall performance
Ink production process
1) ingredients: part of the material is mixed and stirred for pre-dispersion
2) foundry mill: the bonding material and powder are fully wrapped and dispersed by polishing zirconium beads
3) tempering: add materials to control product performance after passing the quality inspection plan
4) Packaging: the product is filtered and poured into different sizes of packaging to get the finished product
The main printing method of liquid ink
Gravure printing: the ink is transferred directly to the bottom material by the roller
Flexography printing: the ink is first transferred to the resin plate (relief plate) through the roller and then transferred to the bottom material.
